Morales is a CantoMundo Fellow, the Editor of Pilgrimage Magazine, and an Associate Professor of English at Colorado State University-Pueblo, where he directs the Creative Writing Program and curates the SoCo Reading Series.
Paula Mitchell - Exploring Colorado Wineries, 2nd Edition, connects the reader to ALL of Colorado's 135 wineries. Each winery's two-page spread contains contact information, wines produced, tasting room hours, specific directions and a special message from the owner.
Pamela Nowak - Escaping Yesterday, where “a young woman shows how far she'll go to save her daughter from an awful fate...[the] story is greatly enriched by the historical details Nowak provides on the real-life Elitch's Gardens, which existed from 1890 to 1994, when it was moved closer to downtown Denver." –Kirkus. An earlier novel, Changes, received the 2014 Colorado Book Award for genre fiction and a HOLT Medallion Award of Merit. Previous honors include the HOLT Medallion and HOLT Medallion Finalist Award, a WILLA Finalist Award, and being named the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers' 2010 Writer of the Year.
