The Indie Spirit Film Festival, Colorado Springs, is proud to present, in collaboration with the Salida Council for the Arts and the SteamPlant Event Center, a one-day independent film festival on Saturday, February 28, 2015.
The festival has been named “Indie Spirit Film Festival on the Arkansas”.
An independent or “indie” film is a professional film that is produced outside of the major film studio system.
We are fortunate to have 25 films available for viewing. The features include three foreign films, two documentaries, and three narrative films. The shorts also include a nice mix of foreign, documentaries, and narratives. The topics are varied, so viewers are sure to enjoy the program.
Films will run from 10 am to 10 pm in both the SteamPlant Theater and in the Annex, leaving festival attendees with the decision of which program to attend. It won’t be an easy decision.
There will be breaks for lunch and dinner. Popcorn and other snacks, as well as a bar, will be available in the SteamPlant lobby.
If you are an indie film enthusiast, or if you are new to the world of independent films but would like to be initiated, please spend Saturday, February 28, at the SteamPlant for some great entertainment.
