'Barbara Ford and Friends'
The April Dies Librorum on Tuesday, April 12 will celebrate National Poetry Month with a poetic potluck and an evening devoted to poetry. Our host will be Barbara Ford, who will present work from her new chapbook, Once Familiar, and talk about the numerous ways poetry has changed and enhanced her life. Barbara is the longtime producer and host of an hour long radio show, Poets and Minstrels, which airs on KHEN every week. She has presented her poems at poetry festivals and conferences throughout the state of Colorado, as well as having her work published in magazines, journals, and anthologies. Once Familiaris her first collection of poetry, published by Finishing Line Press.
In addition, Barbara has invited a number of poets to join her in celebrating National Poetry Month. They will be reading from their own work, as well as a few poems from poets they particularly enjoy.
Please RSVP to this email if you wish to attend. This is a free event, but please do bring a potluck dish, and your own plate, glass, and utensils.
