Each month, members of Salida Artists open their doors to seasoned collectors, art lovers, and artists via the Second Saturday Gallery Tour. This easy stroll between galleries and other creative spaces gives the public the ability to participate in this vibrant creative community. A featured gallery is chosen every month.
At Four Winds Gallery, 118 F Street, downtown Salida, Linda Frances is showing her latest series of intriguing abstract paintings she call the "Stellar Series". These original paintings are abstract interpretations of images from the Hubble Space Telescope of star nebula, young stars, and deep space galaxies. Several are oil on canvas and the rest are mixed media acrylic and latex paint on watercolor paper. The sizes range from tiny 4 x 4 canvases to one acrylic framed to 34 x 46 inches. These paintings can be seen all the month of April at the gallery. One section of wall is devoted to this show.
The gallery will be open till 7 PM on Second Saturday, April 9. Refreshments will be served.

Second Saturday with Glass Artist Evelyn Baker and Singer/Songwriter Mark Rostenko!
Evelyn Gottschall Baker is an amazing glass artist from Buena Vista. She will be giving demos throughout the day from noon until 6:00pm. Come meet her and learn about how she creates her beautiful glasswork.
She will be followed up by Mark Rostenko a very talented singer/songwriter that writes and performs deeply authentic and emotional songs, punctuated by compassion and humor, with the intention to touch, move and inspire listeners to find their way back to what truly matters in life.
Mark will be playing his original music from 6:00-8:00.

Karen Watkins - The Anarchy Girls
Karen Watkins is presenting her first solo show at Bork and Watkins Studio Gallery called the "The Anarchy Girls". The Anarchy Girls is a pop surrealism art show featuring the world of these disordered fairy type girls. The show celebrates total freedom, individualism, community, and the beauty of unlimited reality. Karen Watkins is a full time artist and a resident of Salida for nearly 6 years. Bork and Watkins Gallery is the feature gallery for April Second Saturday.
This show will run from April 9th through the 16th.
