Public Art Commission Open House

The Public Art Commission will host an Open House event at the SteamPlant Ballroom on Monday, September 13, 2021, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Led by design consultant Thomas (T.J.) Hittle of Hittle Landscape Architects, the goal of the event is to receive community input that will help in creating a vision for the evolution of Salida’s downtown skate space. The event is the first step in learning what the community finds important to the revitalization of this City-owned space.

Hittle was selected to lead a design concept plan project by the Public Art Commission through a formal Request for Proposal process, and then recommended to and approved by the Salida City Council.
