Salida SteamPlant Gallery
Salida Arts & Culture presents Modern Western, featuring paintings, portraits, metal, and ceramic art by local artists Tara Flanagan, Ryan Willard, Paulette Brodeur, Laura Donavan, Melia Mariko, and introducing (to Salida) regional artist Joseph Graves, Jr. featuring work from his Black Cowboy series. On exhibit in the Paquette Gallery at the Salida SteamPlant through April 3. And join us at the Creative Mixer with SCFTA: See the art, talk with the artists, participate in the Soapbox tradition, and discover ways to get involved in Salida's vibrant arts scene. A local favorite, Bobby Gulley, will be our musician for the March Mixer. Bobby's performances cover a wide variety of genres. A cash bar is available. The Artist Reception & Mixer is free and open to the public.
14TH ANNUAL VALLEY VISIONS

Come out and support the Salida Council for the Arts at the 14th Annual Valley Visions Art Show. Calling all area artists to mark your calendars. Join the Arkansas River Valley's top established and emerging creative talent for the Salida Council for the Arts 14th Annual Valley Visions Art Showcase. The exhibit features up to 70 of the area's most innovative painters, sculptors, photographers, and artisans. Applications open March 1 and are due March 30 or earlier if the cap of 70 artists is reached. This year's Valley Visions Showcase will be held May 8 through the 10.
