About the event
In the run-up to the Academy Awards, the SteamPlant is looking to celebrate films from 2019 that are critical favorites and those that have garnered nominations and awards throughout the year! These selection of films have Oscar pedigree with previous Award-winners attached to the film, writers and directors that have previously hoisted that coveted golden man statue, or they are poised to be in contention for recognition at this year’s Academy Awards, which airs on February 9!
