First Friday: heARTS & Chocolate

Visit Salida, Colorado, the state’s first designated Creative District, during FIRST FRIDAY: heARTS & chocolate on February 2 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Several galleries and creative businesses in downtown Salida’s Creative District will stay open late. From painting to sculpture, ceramics, photography, plein air, jewelry, fiber arts, and more, drop into one of Salida's many artist-owned and operated galleries and creative businesses where you can interact with the artist, ask questions, watch a demo and build your unique collection. February’s First Friday features an art and chocolate theme. Enjoy a festive evening downtown as you talk with an artist, sample a sweet treat, and find that perfect piece of art! Visitors can also pick up a blank palette card at any of the galleries. Like a passport book, receive a stamp at each gallery you visit.
