Joan Lobeck is a pianist and vocalist with over 20 years experience as a church musician and a master’s degree in Pastoral Ministries with emphasis in ritual. Joan’s passion is to provide music to enhance your wedding ceremony from preludes to the processions and special music. Her repertoire of music can also accommodate a cocktail hour or relaxed reception with a background of easy listening love songs. You can also request a larger ensemble of musicians to provide danceable music for your reception.
About the Artist: Devyn GrundyDevyn Grundy always knew she wanted to be an artist and has been drawing all her life. Growing up in a creative family, she spent her childhood traveling to art shows around the U.S., and watching her dad paint, inspiring Grundy to try selling her art too. She began selling cards at the age of nine, the first ones made with pressed flowers before moving onto prints of colored pencil drawings.
Grundy was born in Boulder, Colorado, and not long after her family moved to a beautiful mountain home near the town of Salida, Colorado. Growing up surrounded by the forest, she was inspired by nature.
Although Grundy went to public school until eighth grade, she soon decided to finish her education online in order to travel and focus on creating a career in art. Grundy graduated high school in 2020 and studied art at the Milan Art Institute giving her a more formal education in art. She is now in college studying graphic design and animation whilst also pursuing a career as an artist. Now creating a substantial and prolific body of work, she is selling her art to adoring collectors all over the country.
Grundy wants people to go on an adventure with her through artwork. When people see the glowing oil paintings she creates they feel as though they are brought into another world of beauty and mystery that they are free to explore.
“I connect to positive, peaceful, glowing energy when I paint and want other people to feel that energy when they look at my paintings,” says Grundy. Her awe-inspiring paintings certainly do make the viewer feel the energy and passion put into each piece, the flowing effects used in each painting guiding the eye through. Each painting is an exploration for Grundy, delving deeper into this world of fantasy, mystery, and glowing lights. Although she always uses a similar process when creating artwork starting with acrylics before moving onto oil paints to really make her paintings glow, Grundy still turns every piece into an adventure by constantly challenging herself and trying new things often adding materials such as gold leaf or glitter to paintings.
