Stone Fetish Carving Class
2 sessions: Sat Feb 1 10-2p and Sat Feb 8 10-1p. Hands-on, beginning carving class in which you’ll complete a simple stone carving. Instructor will supply the “blank”, which is a small basic shape cutout of an animal in soapstone.

About the event
This is a hands-on, easy, beginning carving class in which you’ll complete a simple stone carving. Instructor will supply the “blank”, which is a small basic shape cutout of an animal in soapstone. The carving is done with files, rather than knives, so it’s safe for anyone to complete. Students will have the option of several shapes to start with.
Limit 10 students.
This class is offered for free to the public thanks to the William Boddy Passion to Learn Scholarship. Pre-registration is required.
