The Community Palette – Artful Musings from an Unsettled Time
The Salida SteamPlant is putting together a collection of works created during quarantine for a virtual exhibit titled, The Community Palette – Artful Musings from an Unsettled Time. The show will be in the SteamPlant’s new virtual gallery and will feature a work of art and a short video of each artist, highlighting their work in general and their piece specifically.
Video interviews will be conducted at the SteamPlant between Monday, June 8th and Friday, June 12th. Each artist will be scheduled to bring their piece to the SteamPlant for photographing and for a short video of the artist statement. All works are welcome with the only requirement that the piece was created between March 16, 2020 and the present.
100% of sales will go directly to the artists.
The show will become part of the SteamPlant’s video content library and promoted across all social media platforms in addition to the SteamPlant’s website.
To participate in this first-of-it's-kind exhibit through the SteamPlant, submit this form: The Community Palette Art Exhibit Submission Form with a picture of your piece to info@salidasteamplant.com by June 8th.
