Salida Council for the Arts is pleased to announce the winners of its annual High School Scholarships. Each year, we award two scholarships: one to a student pursuing education in visual arts and one in performing arts. This year's award winners are:
VISUAL ARTS: Samuel Orion Hughes
Sam will be attending Leslie University in Cambridge Massachusetts working towards a bachelor’s degree in fine arts with the goal of becoming an Art Therapist.
PERFORMING ARTS: Jakob Brian Vold
Jakob will be attending the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley where he will pursue instrumental music with a double major in Music Business Management and Business Administration.
